Sincil Bank Signal Box was situated on the approach to Lincoln from Sleaford and is seen here on the 8th February 1976. It originally controlled both the junction for the GNR line to Grantham and the level crossing, however the junction was removed when the line to Grantham was closed and the box was abolished around 1985 when the level crossing was converted to lifting barriers controlled from Pelham Street Junction Signal Box via CCTV. Further information regarding this Signal Box gratefully received. Previous | NextDunfermline Lower Signal Box seen here on the 14th April 1977.
